On the 15th of August 2025, we were honoured by the visit of the Minister of Economy of Latvia, Viktors Valainis, and the Minister of Welfare of Latvia, Uldis Augulis.
The purpose of the visit was to gain insights into the company's capabilities in aircraft and engine repair, as well as to review ongoing development projects.
The delegation was briefed on the company's extensive experience and capabilities, with over 25 years of expertise in the aviation industry. Particular emphasis was placed on the company's certifications and approvals, which highlight its commitment to maintaining the highest standards in aviation safety and service quality.
During the facility tour, the company's ability to handle over 200 projects annually, including 30 engine repairs, was showcased. Operating from a 13,000-square-meter facility in Riga, the company employs over 180 professionals to deliver comprehensive and efficient maintenance solutions to a global clientele.
Discussions focused on future projects aimed at expanding business aviation capabilities and engine overhaul capabilities. The projects double the highly skilled aviation labour, giving the opportunity to professionals who obtained education degrees in Latvia to apply their skills and knowledge in their home country.
The visit underscored the critical role of innovative and reliable service providers like Airline Support Baltic in supporting the growth and sustainability of Latvia's aviation sector and economy.
