Customs Broker

Main Responsibilities

• Managing customs clearance procedures for cargo shipments, ensuring timely processing and compliance with all relevant regulations;
• Providing the possessor of goods or his authorized person with the necessary information in order to ensure the performance of the contract;
• Reporting balances after end-use permit;
• Classifying goods and ensuring accurate documentation;
• Communicating with customs officials, clients, and internal teams to resolve any customs-related issues efficiently;
• Staying updated on changes to customs laws and regulations, and implementing necessary adjustments to our processes;
• Providing expertise and guidance on customs procedures to internal teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Business management, Logistics or Customs management;
• Knowledge of the application of customs legislation in matters of customs taxes;
• Understanding of customs import/export regulations;
• Good knowledge of Latvian and English languages;
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
