  • Overview:
    Position Location – Riga, Latvia.
    Employment Status – Full-time.

    Project Manager directs and coordinates activities of several disciplines on a project of moderate scope or a combination of smaller projects. PM ensures the proper work of a team following deadlines and standards. Assists in the direction of project planning, budgeting and establishing critical project objectives.

    Key Duties/Responsibilities:

    Duties and responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:

    • Defining project requirements and establishing project work plans and deadlines
    • Following the procedures described in Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) and other manuals within Technical Department
    • Following the job safety and occupational health rules and standards
    • organizing the proper work of  team ensuring   compliance with the deadlines, goals and keeping up with the working plans
    • Serve as customer primary point of contact in communicating, coordinating, and follow up for work progress, resolution of squawks according to established procedures and forms

    Knowledge/Skills Required:

    As the Project Manager, you must possess the following abilities:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering  or minimum 5 years relevant experience
    • Hold  the EASA Part.66 B1 and/or B2  license
    • At least 2 years experience in A/C Base Maintenance 
    • Must be eligible to work and live in the EU
    • Ability to lead/motivate individuals and teams
    • Good in English, (Russian language knowledge is an advantage) 
    • Good communication and team working skills
    • High sense of responsibility, preciseness and in a due time
    • Strong organizational skills and be able to respond to changing or multiple work demands
    • Working flexible hours, including rotating or fixed shifts

  • Airline Support Baltic is looking for a Purchaser/ Spare Parts Buyer to join our team.


    Overview:
    Position Location – Riga, Latvia.
    Employment Status – Full-time.

    Great opportunity for aspiring professionals interested in aviation to join a respected aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company. The purchaser will be working for our Engine Repair Shop.

    Main responsibilities:

    • Researching and identifying prospective suppliers;
    • Purchasing of components on the aviation market;
    • Purchasing (or rental) of tools;
    • Spare parts documentation analysis;
    • Evaluate price, quality, service support, availability, reliability, or other selection criteria in making purchase decisions;
    • Materials transportation (logistics) arrangement;
    • Preparing proposals (to internal and external customers), requesting quotes and negotiating purchase terms and conditions with suppliers;
    • Preparing and issuing purchase orders;
    • Meeting deadlines by ensuring deliveries of the ordered parts on time, cooperation with other company departments to ensure all deliveries are on time;
    • Open orders and deliveries monitoring and control;
    • Input, extract and interpret data in automated information systems;

  • Responsibilities:

    • Aircraft and components maintenance, including servicing, inspections, cleaning, aircraft parts removal/ installation and defects rectification;
    • Completing necessary paperwork in a manner designated by the Company;
    • Assisting aircraft engineers in the performance of their duties;
    • Additional responsibilities as delineated by Aircraft Engineer and Production Manager.
    Requirements:
    • At least one year minimum experience in mechanical repair of vehicles/vessels, preferably aircraft – whether through technical training, apprenticeship, or similar experience; Technical education (aviation education is an advantage);
    • Good computer skills (Microsoft packages);
    • Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
    • High sense of duty and responsibility;

  • Overview:

    We are looking for a Junior Purchaser to buy products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.
    Purchaser responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.) For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.
    Ultimately, you’ll create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.

    Key Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Research potential vendors
    • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
    • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
