Non-destructive Testing

Precision beneath the surface — ensuring integrity, safety, and trust in every component.

At Airline Support Baltic (ASB), precision is not a promise — it’s a process.
Our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team works to reduce maintenance costs while increasing component safety and reliability across every aircraft system.

We are certified and equipped to perform both in-house and on-site inspections, adapting our services to the needs of each client and each operation.
Our experienced technicians apply international NDT standards with consistency and care — combining technical expertise with the craftsmanship that defines ASB.

With advanced facilities and portable systems, our specialists ensure structural integrity and operational confidence in aircraft, engines, and landing gear — wherever inspection is needed.

Our NDT Inspection Methods Include:

  • Eddy current testing (ET) — for surface and sub-surface flaw detection
  • Ultrasonic testing (UT) — for internal structure analysis and thickness measurement
  • Penetrant testing (FPI) — for detecting surface-breaking defects with precision
  • Magnetic particle testing (MPI) — for ferromagnetic component evaluation
  • Acid etch inspection — revealing hidden cracks and rework traces
  • Radiographic testing (RT) — for internal evaluation of components and welds

Our Equipment and Facilities:

  • MPI station — equipped with Johnson & Allen bench, processing parts up to 2.5 meters in length
  • FPI station — featuring a custom penetrant system line using Magnaflux chemicals
  • Flaw detection systemsOlympus Nortec and Epoch units with a wide range of reference standards and probes
  • Customized NDT solutions — designed to meet specific inspection needs and configurations

Our NDT Expertise Supports:

  • Aircraft base and line maintenance programs
  • Engine overhaul operations
  • Landing gear overhaul and repair

At ASB, we look beyond the surface — delivering inspection precision that ensures every aircraft part meets our highest standard: trust.
